Update on Factory Safety
In a recent interview with Hodinkee, Savary, a member of our team, shared some reassuring news regarding the safety of our factory. Despite the recent incident, everyone is safe and unharmed.
Minimal Damage
According to Savary, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) visited the factory and reported that there was only minor water damage and damage to the roof. Thankfully, these damages did not have a significant impact on our operations.
A Stroke of Luck
We consider ourselves fortunate because our factory is located just 500 meters away from Sellita. Unfortunately, Sellita experienced much worse damage due to the incident. Furthermore, had this incident occurred when the industry was not on holiday, there would have been approximately 10,000 more people in La Chaux-de-Fond. In such a scenario, injuries would have been significantly more severe.
