Karen Stokes’ article announces the second annual CNS Loren Martin Hintz Travel Writing Scholarship, which will award $1,000 to a Milwaukee writer based on the essay theme: “If you could travel to one place you’ve never been, where would it be and why?” The scholarship was created by Carvd N Stone (CNS), a positive media company and marketing agency, in tribute to award-winning travel writer Loren Martin Hintz, and aims to promote and encourage the next generation of travel writers. Last year’s winner, Morgan Coleman, wrote about her study abroad experience in Morocco and used the scholarship to help pay for graduate school applications.
