Pentagon Sends Report on US Withdrawal from Afghanistan to Congress

The Pentagon has sent a report on the 2023 US withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Abbey Gate attack at the Kabul airport to Congress. The report includes details of the attack during the evacuation which killed 13 US service members.

The classified report will be available electronically to members of Congress who can log on to a digital portal on Thursday. In addition, the White House will release a 10-page unclassified summary separately.
