OVAC Hall of Fame Tickets on Sale

Tickets for the 19th OVAC Hall of Fame Induction Banquet slated for Saturday, Aug. 12th at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling are currently on sale. Reservations should be made by July 22nd.

Wirt County Hall of Fame Scramble

The inaugural Wirt County Hall of Fame golf scramble will have a 1 p.m. shotgun start on Sunday, Aug. 13 at Mingo Bottom Golf Club.

All proceeds go toward raising money for the newly organized Wirt County Sports Hall of Fame.

Entry fee is $50 per player, hole sponsorships are available for $25, and registration will be at noon.

Cash prizes will be determined based on field size.

There will be a 50-50 raffle and each foursome member can buy three mulligans for $5.

South Basketball Golf Scramble

The Parkersburg South boys basketball team will be hosting their 12th annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, July 15, at Mingo Bottoms Golf Course. The entry fee per 4-man team is $200 with additional costs for mulligans, T-busters, skins, and 50/50 putts.

All golfers will be eligible to win longest drive and closest to the pin contests. Lunch is provided during the round and each registrant will receive a South Basketball t-shirt.

The field has sold out every year and there are several teams already registered.

Parkersburg South Cheer Golf Scramble

The Parkersburg South Cheer team is holding a golf scramble on July 22 at South Hills Golf Club.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. on the day of the event with tee-off at 10. The cost is $300 per team.

Lunch will be provided by Outback, while mulligans, T-busters, and skins will be available for purchase. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, games, and raffles.
