Baltimore Sun: April 21 High School Sports Recap

Friday Varisty High School Action

On Friday, April 21, high school varsity teams competed in exciting matchups. Here are the highlights:

Francis Scott Key 2, Century 0

In a nail-biting game, the Eagles came out on top with a score of 2 to 0 against Century. Jasmine Kline had an impressive performance, throwing a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and only one walk. It wasn’t until the sixth inning when Brianna Dehoff singled home Emma Tawney that the Eagles were able to break through Century’s defense. Emma Taff drove in another run off a Century error in the seventh. Despite the loss, Jordan Currie put up a good fight for Century, allowing eight hits and striking out four.

Patterson Mill 11, North Harford 3

The Huskies dominated with a score of 11 to 3 against North Harford. Patterson Mill took the lead with five runs in the third inning and never looked back. Savannah Reedy led the win with three hits and two RBIs, while Audrey March contributed two hits and two RBIs. Lily Baldwin and Kaylyn Pulket also had impressive performances, with Baldwin driving in two runs and Pulket collecting three hits.
