DFW*ATW has unveiled its 2023 board of directors, comprising executive officers, committee chairs, and co-chairs. This nonprofit organization aims to promote gender diversity in leadership and improve the pipeline for female tech workers. Its leadership team includes Valerie M. Davis as president, Kavitha Ramesh as vice president, Lorie Medina as secretary, and Anamika Gupta as treasurer. Other board members have diverse backgrounds, working in senior positions in companies such as Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, and Honeywell. Nine committee chairs and co-chairs will serve on the board for the first time, including leaders from AppFolio, Logix Fiber Networks, and CBRE. The DFW Alliance of Technology and Women is the biggest professional organization for Dallas’ women in technology, comprising of men, women, and corporate representatives committed to diversity, professional development programs, STEM initiatives, awards, and advocacy.
