RIT Women’s Tennis Defeats Hartwick 5-4
Rochester Institute of Technology’s women’s tennis team earned a 5-4 victory against Hartwick on Sunday, thanks in part to sophomore Gabby Donohue. Donohue’s clutch performance led the Tigers to victory after she won against Damita Bollers, claiming the third singles match 4-6, 6-3, and 6-4.
Doubles Matches
The RIT team also won all of their doubles matches, with graduate student Kirsten Auble and junior Jackie Drozd defeating Jade Killikelly with a score of 8-6 in first doubles, while Donohue and junior Abby Murray beat Phoebe Olson and Lily Vanuga with the same score of 8-6 in second doubles. The first-year duo of Devon Mills and Anika Galkiewicz took third doubles with a final score of 8-3.
Solo Performance
In the fourth singles match, Murray emerged victorious against Ryann Ashby, winning in straight sets.
