The Lynnwood Police Department in Washington has implemented a new technology to aid in tracking suspected criminals without engaging in pursuits, according to KING5.

The StarChase GPS System

The GPS technology utilizes a small box mounted on the front of police cruisers. It is designed to track suspects who fail to pull over.
