There are many moments in history that are extraordinary, beautiful, or simply unforgettable. People still talk about them because they shape the world we live in today. We made a list of the top 10 unforgettable moments in history.

1. The fall of the Berlin Wall

On November 9, 1989, the wall that separated East and West Berlin was opened. People who had been separated for almost 30 years hugged each other and celebrated together. This event marked the beginning of the end of the Cold War.

2. The moon landing

On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first human to walk on the moon. This event was watched by millions of people and was a major achievement in science and technology. Neil Armstrong’s words, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,” remain iconic to this day.

3. The March on Washington

On August 28, 1963, more than 250,000 people gathered at the Lincoln Memorial to support civil rights for African Americans. The Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech, which called for equality and justice for all. This event energized a movement of people who wanted to make the United States, and the world, a more just and inclusive place.

4. The French Revolution

The French Revolution lasted from 1789 to 1799 and its impact can still be felt in modern politics, social injustice, and human rights.
