Roswell Incident
At the top of our list is undoubtedly the Roswell Incident. In July 1947, a UFO reportedly crashed in the desert town of Roswell, New Mexico. The incident was covered up for years, but many people believe that it was evidence of an extraterrestrial visitation.
Project Blue Book
The US Air Force ran Project Blue Book from 1952 to 1969. The project sought to investigate UFO sightings and determine if there was any threat to national security. While many of the cases were debunked, some remain unsolved to this day.
