But, don’t worry, there are definitely ways to get through it that may even help you grow as a person. Here are some tips and tricks to help you get through heartbreak with your sanity still intact!

Feeling the Pain

One of the things you’ll notice about heartbreak is that it physically hurts. It feels like a heavy weight in your chest that’s difficult to shake. When you ignore it or try to suppress it, the pain just intensifies, so it’s important to allow yourself to feel it. Although it may seem counterintuitive, this is a huge step towards healing. Pain is just a part of the emotional healing process.

Give Yourself Time to Heal

William Faulkner once said, “You cannot swim for new horizons until you have courage to lose sight of the shore.” When you build a life with someone, it’s natural to cling tightly to that life even when it’s obvious that it’s time to move on. You don’t have to leave right away – there’s no need to run straightaway to that new horizon. It’s okay to take a little time to get used to your new identiy as an individual rather than as a couple. In fact, it’s always a great idea to take some time alone to collect your thoughts, form new dreams, and re-determine your goals before settling into a new relationship. Take stock of the old familiar items you no longer adore and take yourself lnowithout the shared things labled “ours.” You will learn through heartbreak to be an awesome roomie and treat yourself awesomely as you would your friend. Learn to enjoy quiet times and do activities that recharge your spiritual life.

Break the Wall of Communication

You know that old phrase about how what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger? Well, allows growth. Communication oftentimes can be consuming for them, or will ultimately work matters out on their own over time without ever needing closure. If this is not the case, find closure other means with through writing or venting to a close confidante.

One thing most people experience during heartbreak is an unwelcome burst of creativity. Maybe you’ll sign up for an art class or write a novel, take a yoga class, learn to run a marathon. Many people have pointed out in their writings how heartbreak was their calling to a new area of effectiveness that they had never before considered. Trust yourself and try some self-discovery through some projects that involve attaining skills or knowledge that nurtures your animus. Learn to trust your instincts, try new hobbies. Acknowledge the broken pieces and learn to treasure them as each fragment, when rebuilt model achievement.

So, there we have it! Heartbreak isn’t fun, but it’s also not the end of the world. Try to focus on the things that remains unaffected by doom. Accept the pain, take time off for self-discovery, communicate effectively, and focus on personal growth. Forgive but leave something at the harm and be kind to yourself. God never thinks of you as unworthy even as you go through varied experiences. Always find joy in situations no matter what you’re going through. And never forget that you’re not alone: everyone goes through heartaches!
