Sunak urges Stormont comeback before Biden trip.

The Good Friday Agreement, which brought peace to Northern Ireland and ended the Troubles, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Signed on April 10th, 1998, the agreement saw the Irish Republican Army and other groups lay down their arms and led to a joint Nobel peace prize for leaders of the Ulster Unionist party and the SDLP. Despite the power-sharing government being currently suspended over a Brexit dispute, the anniversary is being celebrated with visits from US President Joe Biden, former President Bill Clinton, and notable politicians. Meanwhile, despite the agreement, paramilitary groups are still present in Northern Ireland, with incidents of violence and punishment beatings still occurring. On a positive note, women who helped strike the agreement, such as Mo Mowlam, are finally being given recognition, with tributes from politicians and diplomats.
