There are 3 types of people when it comes to snow – those who love it, those who hate it, and those who tolerate it.
I fall into that last category. I like it enough, but after a bit, I am done with it.
I couldn’t live in a snowy destination, but you will catch me traveling to one whenever I get the chance. After a few days though I am ready to get back to warmer weather…and no longer wearing socks!
We make plans and spend tons of money to see and experience snow. It’s what makes the winter travel season so special.
However, it will also disrupt our travel plans.
We saw over the last week how these winter travel woes derailed vacations. Winter storms Blair and Cora wreaked havoc and delayed and canceled thousands of flights.
So, snow can be a love-hate relationship for many.
Its impact on travel is profound though, and no matter how many winter storms occur the rest of this year, it’s not going to stop people from traveling to their snowy destinations.
Just remember to be prepared with travel insurance and to pack your patience when traveling.
