Owensboro Health is taking another step toward improving community well-being with its 2025 Community Health Investments. The initiative will support 16 projects by organizations and nonprofits across the region, addressing key health and social issues identified in the hospital’s community health needs assessment.
The Community Health Investments program provides financial and in-kind support for projects focused on health, human services, and the arts. Owensboro Health also announced that additional targeted investments will be revealed in the coming months, specifically addressing priority health areas and social determinants of health.
“These direct community investments allow us to reach beyond the walls of the health system and impact other areas that are key determinants to the health of our patients and community,” Owensboro Health President and CEO Mark Marsh said Thursday morning during the announcement of this year’s investments. “By working together with these community partners, we can accomplish even bigger goals to improve the health of our region. These partnerships are vital for a healthy and vibrant community.”
