Two Individuals Shot in South Louisville
The Louisville Metro Police Department is currently conducting an investigation following the shooting of two victims in south Louisville on Saturday.
At approximately 5 p.m., police received reports regarding a shooting involving two victims. The LMPD later located a female in the 3200 block of Commerce Center Place, and a man in the 3300 block of Penway Drive, which was not far from the first location.
According to the preliminary investigation conducted by the LMPD, the two victims were outside a business at Cane Run Road and Bells Lane at the time of the shooting. After the incident, they fled the scene.
Although both the male and female victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, they were taken to the UofL Hospital for treatment.
The LMPD has not determined the relationship between the two victims at this point. The Second Division of the LMPD is currently investigating the incident and has not made any arrests.
