Montville Board of Education Fetes Charlie Grau
The Montville Township Board of Education honored Charlie Grau for receiving the Volunteer of the Year award from the Montville Township Chamber of Commerce at the board’s March 2020 meeting. Board member Michael O’Brien read a proclamation describing Grau as an enthusiastic supporter of the Montville Township Public Schools for many years.
Grau has been involved in a variety of organizations and activities within the community. He served as a trustee and board president of the Montville Township Public Schools Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting educational programs and initiatives in the district. Grau has also volunteered his time to coach various sports teams and has been a mentor to many students.
