Memphis International Auto Show Returns After Pandemic Shutdown
The Memphis International Auto Show has made a comeback at the Renasant Convention Center. After being shut down for months due to the pandemic, the free event is back to give visitors a chance to see over a hundred cars on display. Visitors have the opportunity to check out vehicles from various manufacturers like Ford, Maserati, Chrysler, Jeep, among others.
The event not only offers visitors a chance to see new car models, but it also serves as a platform for experts to educate people. Brian Moody, Kelley Blue Book Executive Editor, believes the auto show provides an opportunity for visitors to test different technologies in vehicles. He emphasizes that technology has changed significantly in the past decade, and cars now have advanced features like touchscreens, blind-spot monitoring, and electric engines.

The Memphis Auto Show is not only a time to see new cars, but it also offers opportunities to learn about the inner workings of vehicle technology. According to Ryan McElroy, President of the Memphis Area Auto Dealers Association, visitors can ask questions and get expert responses. Students studying at the technical college Moore Tech will also be there to help visitors understand the technology and maybe even apply for scholarships to further their knowledge.

The Memphis International Auto Show is open to anyone with an interest in cars. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and ends on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
