Kourtney Kardashian Flaunts Baby Bump in Expensive Outfit
Kourtney Kardashian, soon-to-be mother of four, recently shared a series of photos on Instagram, showcasing her baby bump in a stunning $9,000 outfit. The reality TV star, who is known for her fashion-forward choices, posed confidently in an all-blue ensemble.
In the images, Kourtney, 44, can be seen exploring her sprawling Los Angeles mansion. She wore a long-sleeved oversized cropped jacket with fur details on the front and a tall collar with zippers. Completing the look, she paired the jacket with a matching super short skirt and silver heels.
While Kourtney’s outfit received much attention, it also sparked controversy due to its use of animal skin. Despite her mostly vegan lifestyle, the jacket is made from 100 percent lamb leather, which includes non-textile parts of animal origin. The skirt, on the other hand, is composed of 100 percent shearling, which is processed lambskin.
Kourtney, who is the founder of the lifestyle blog Poosh, has been gradually transitioning to a plant-based diet but understands that progress takes time. Poosh encourages individuals to start by incorporating plant-based options into their meals once a week and gradually increasing the frequency.
Although Kourtney occasionally indulges in non-vegan dishes like a baked crab handroll, she emphasizes the importance of balance and self-care. She also follows a ketogenic diet on and off, which focuses on low-carb and high-protein meals. Additionally, Kourtney has eliminated gluten, sugar, and dairy from her diet and prefers organic foods whenever possible.
The Kardashian-Jenner family has faced criticism in the past for wearing and selling products made from animal skins. In April, PETA urged the family to donate their fur and exotic animal-skinned goods from their second-hand clothing site to be distributed to the homeless. While Kim Kardashian claimed to have given up fur in 2019, she has been spotted wearing faux fur but also included items with fur on her online store.
It is important to note that despite public outcry, the Kardashian-Jenner family has not violated any laws by selling their vintage items. In recent years, major fashion brands such as Prada, Gucci, Chanel, and Versace have moved away from using fur and exotic skins, aligning with consumers’ growing concerns for ethical fashion choices.
Kourtney Kardashian’s $9,000 outfit may have made a bold fashion statement, but it has also reignited conversations about sustainability and ethics within the industry. As public figures, the Kardashian-Jenners have the power to influence trends and set examples for their massive following. Whether they choose to embrace more conscious fashion choices remains to be seen.
