Upcoming Concerts at the Hayes School of Music: March 30
The Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University is hosting several exciting concerts on March 30. From classical to jazz, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Chamber Orchestra
The Chamber Orchestra, led by Dr. Mélisse Brunet, will be performing at 1:00 pm in the Broyhill Music Center. The program includes pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert. The concert is free and open to the public.
Jazz Ensemble I
Jazz enthusiasts will not want to miss the performance by Jazz Ensemble I at 4:00 pm in the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts. Led by Todd Wright, the group will be playing a mix of classic and contemporary jazz tunes. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
Opera Workshop
The Opera Workshop, under the direction of Dr. James Stokes, presents “The Magic Flute” by Mozart at 7:30 pm in the Valborg Theatre.
