Arrests and Incidents Reported by Glenview Police Department
The Glenview Police Department has reported multiple arrests and incidents from various parts of the town. It is important to note that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
Armed Robbery
On April 10, a man entered a business located at the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road, and, after walking behind the counter, lifted his shirt displaying a gun, demanding cash from the register. An employee of the business handed him money, and the suspect fled.
Battery
On April 11, Samuel Bova, 37, of the 4500 block of Lilac Avenue in Glenview, was charged with domestic battery and violation of an order of protection. He was taken into custody after an investigation of an incident that happened in the 1500 block of Executive Lane. He has since been held for a bond hearing in Cook County court in Skokie.
DUI
Olha Belesku, 43, of the 900 block of Revere Road in Glenview, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage on April 12. She was arrested following a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Patriot Blvd. She has since been released on bond.
Theft
Crishon Greenwood, 25, of the 400 block of North Central Avenue in Chicago, was charged with retail theft on April 12. He was taken into custody after an investigation of an incident that happened in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard on December 20. He has since been released to the custody of the Cook County sheriff.
A person affiliated with a retail business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported that an unknown individual or individuals had taken cosmetics from the store between April 2 and April 4.
On April 4, two men and a woman entered a retail business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard, took bottles of alcoholic beverages, and left without paying.
On the same day, a woman entered a retail business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive, took athletic equipment, and left without paying.
An unknown woman, identifying herself as an employee of a utility, called a Glenview resident and demanded cash cards and gift cards or she would shut off the resident’s power on April 5.
On April 10, a woman entered a retail business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard, filled a shopping cart with household and beverage items, and left without paying.
Forgery
A Glenview resident reported mailing four checks from the Glenview post office, and they were cashed to different people in the same amounts on April 10.
Additionally, a Glenview resident reported mailing a check from the Glenview post office, and it was cashed to a different individual in the same amounts on April 5.
