Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Presents Salud Y Sol End of Summer Health Fiesta
The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance is collaborating with Axis Community Health, CityServe of the Tri-Valley, Tri-Valley Haven, and Open Heart Kitchen to host the Salud Y Sol End of Summer Health Fiesta next weekend.
Launching TVNPA Livermore Connects Program
Juliana Schirmer, director of development and communications for the alliance, stated that the event marks the launch of the TVNPA Livermore Connects program in conjunction with Salud Y Sol. The primary objective of this event is to encourage Livermore individuals and families to visit our partner organizations and other non-profit organizations, fostering a stronger community bond.
A Health-focused Community Event
This free summer event aims to create a sense of community while offering valuable health-related services, information, and activities for everyone of all ages within the Livermore community.
Informing Residents about Nonprofit Organizations
According to Schirmer, the main purpose of the event is to raise awareness among residents about the various nonprofit organizations available to them. These organizations provide services in areas such as dental care, mental health, housing, and other support services. Attendees will have the opportunity to gather information and schedule appointments specific to their needs.
Fun and Useful Offerings
In addition to the informative aspects of the event, attendees can enjoy food, music entertainment, and face-painting for kids. Tri-Valley Haven will be giving away free backpacks filled with essential school supplies for children at their booth. Axis Community Health will provide educational health information and distribute dental kits to ensure overall well-being.
