EXID’s Elly signs exclusive contract with TR Entertainment
EXID member Elly, formerly known as LE, has signed an exclusive contract with TR Entertainment, the K-pop agency founded by her longtime collaborator Shinsadong Tiger. The agency was responsible for producing the majority of EXID’s hits, including “Up & Down” and “DDD”. Elly and Shinsadong Tiger have also worked together to produce music for TR Entertainment K-pop girl group TRI.BE, starting from their 2023 debut.
According to TR Entertainment, “Elly has been working with our agency based on strong trust. Of course, we plan to fully support Elly in releasing her solo album and show her original charms in various ways”. The idol also shared her excitement about the new partnership, stating that she is happy to be with TR Entertainment, with whom she has deeply connected through various collaborations including TRI.BE’s music.
This news comes over three years after Elly left her previous agency, Banana Culture, in March 2023, and the rest of EXID signed with new agencies following their departure from the label in 2019 and 2023. Last September, the group reunited to release the single album ‘X’ to commemorate their tenth anniversary, which was led by the single ‘Fire’, released in both Korean and English.
The future looks bright for Elly and EXID, and fans are eagerly awaiting her solo album release. TR Entertainment plans to continue supporting Elly on her new journey, so stay tuned for some good music and original charms from this talented idol.
