Color Health’s New Program Makes Cancer Screenings Easy
Color Health wants to eliminate any excuses for skipping cancer screenings. The Silicon Valley company, known for its pivot from cancer genomics to Covid-19 testing, has developed a new program that combines its expertise in cancer testing and logistical capabilities from the pandemic.
In partnership with the American Cancer Society, Color Health has introduced the Cancer Prevention and Screening Program. This program aims to simplify the process of receiving appropriate screenings, whether at a clinic or in the comfort of one’s own home.
Alicia Zhou, the company’s chief scientific officer, explains, “If we can eliminate all your reasons for not prioritizing prevention, can we motivate you to take preventive measures? It’s about bringing the care to the patient, rather than expecting the patient to seek care.”
