Colonels Travel to Georgia State Spring Invitational
Eastern Kentucky University’s women’s golf team heads to its fourth week of the Spring slate, competing at the Georgia State Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Johns Creek, Georgia.
The golf action for the week will take place at Rivermont Golf Club, which is a par-72 at 6,170 yards. The schedule for the week includes 36 holes on Monday with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. ET and continuous play into round two. Tuesday will be a single 18-hole round with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET.

The Colonels are coming off their highest finish of the Spring season, placing T6th on March 14th at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada.
EKU Lineup and Players to Watch
Junior Rylea Marcum is heading into the tournament with momentum, having achieved her highest finish of the Spring season at the Jackrabbit Invitational. Marcum shot a three-round total of 211 (-5) and placed third in the field, which was enough to earn her the ASUN Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week on March 16th.
Head coach Mandy Moore has selected a lineup consisting of Marcum, Mattie Jo Neeley, Elizabeth Tucci, Alice Daag, and Maddie Hensley. Grace Clark, who has yet to make her collegiate appearance, will enter the field as an individual player.

Eastern Kentucky University will face off against a diverse group of opponents, including Albany, Appalachian State, Boston College, Bradley, Charleston Southern, Charlotte, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Georgia State, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Murray State, Seton Hall, Troy, and Western Carolina.
