Baltimore Sun’s March 31 High School Sports recap.

On Friday, March 31st, high school varsity action included Patterson Mill’s 3-0 win against Fallston, in which Michael Hemelt and Noah Thomas combined on a shutout. Havre de Grace rallied to beat Elkton 7-6, while Justin Simpers and Trevor Zakowsky helped Aberdeen shut out Edgewood 11-0. North Harford’s Matt Siedlecki drove in four runs in his team’s 15-8 win over Harford Tech, and Centennial’s Qwynn Ahearn hit a 400-foot three-run home run in the team’s 16-7 win over Mt. Hebron. The Wildecats earned their first win of the season with a 13-12 victory over Oakland Mills, while the Mustangs came back from a 4-3 deficit to beat Glenelg 5-4. Manchester Valley came back to beat Westminster 15-8, and McDonogh earned a 12-5 victory over Archbishop Spalding.
