Infidelity Uncovered Through Supermarket Rewards Programme
A woman in Australia managed to uncover her husband’s infidelity by discovering his spending using a supermarket rewards programme. The story unfolded when a private investigator, Cass, was hired by the wife to probe her husband who was exhibiting signs of cheating but needed concrete proof.
“My client, the wife, wanted to find out how her husband was cheating. We were pretty sure he was up to something,” Ms Cass said in the video.
The husband’s suspicious behavior included frequent trips from Queensland to New South Wales to visit his family, a change in his usual routine. The wife became even more suspicious when she found transactions in their joint bank account from Coles and Bunnings.
However, without specific locations attached to the store names, the wife hit a dead end in her investigation. It was then that Ms Cass suggested checking if they had any joint rewards accounts like Everyday Rewards or Flybuys.
Upon checking their Flybuys account, the mystery started to unravel. The purchases from Coles and Bunnings were traced back to a Queensland suburb where the husband’s ex-girlfriend resided, exposing his infidelity.
Tips for Catching a Cheating Partner
In another video, Ms Cass shared a tip for catching a cheating partner that involved simply asking to use their phone. She recounted a case where a woman discovered her partner using the eggplant emoji, commonly associated with a penis, even though he had never sent one to her before.
Ms Cass runs a female-run investigative firm that specializes in conducting background checks, mobile surveillance, and social media investigations to help women gather evidence in cases of infidelity and deceit.
Social Media Reactions
As the story went viral, social media users applauded the detective work while some poked fun at the husband for being thrifty in his cheating endeavors.
“Looking at shopping points? That is some heavy detective work if you ask me!” said one user, while another remarked: “I learn something new everyday. Eggplant emoji…I have to send my wife that.”
Another user commented, “Hahaha, while trying to save a few bucks, he loses his marriage and the costs involved.”
