Princess Leia’s Iconic Gown on Display
DENVER, CO – DECEMBER 27: The Princess Leia white gown from Episode V is currently on tour at the Star Wars exhibit at the Denver Art Museum since December 27, 2016.
Fans have been flocking to the exhibit following the tragic news of Carrie Fisher’s passing. Fisher, best known for her role as Star Wars Princess Leia Organa, passed away at 8:55 AM on Tuesday morning.
The actress was flying from London to Los Angeles on Friday, December 23, when she suddenly went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics swiftly removed her from the flight and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she received treatment for a heart attack. Unfortunately, she did not recover and died at the age of 60.
