Annual Polish Fest celebrates and honors Polish culture.

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Polish Fest Celebrates 40th Anniversary in Rockford

The streets surrounding St. Stanislaus Church were abuzz with excitement on Sunday as the 40th annual Polish Fest took place in Rockford. The festival, aimed at embracing and celebrating Polish culture, brought together people from all walks of life.

Embracing Polish Culture

Attendees proudly sported shirts showcasing their Polish heritage, creating a vibrant atmosphere that permeated throughout the event. Live Polka music filled the air, delighting locals and visitors alike. The festival also featured an array of delicious Polish cuisine, allowing everyone to indulge in the traditional flavors. Additionally, Polish dancers from Milwaukee showcased their talents, entertaining the audience with their lively performances.

A Family-Friendly Event

Polish Fest catered to the entire family, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The event organizers set up exciting bounce houses, keeping the kids entertained and engaged. Raffles added an element of anticipation, offering attendees the chance to win exciting prizes.

Supporting Church Renovations

The proceeds from Polish Fest contribute towards the renovation of the church parking lot at St. Stanislaus. By attending and enjoying the festivities, participants not only celebrated Polish culture but also contributed to a meaningful cause.
