AJ Allmendinger Takes Second Pole of NASCAR Xfinity Series Season

AJ Allmendinger secured his second pole position of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season on Friday at Road America. The Kaulig Racing driver set a new track record with a lap of 130.574 seconds at 111.606 mph around the 4.084-mile road course.
Cole Custer, who won in both Portland and Chicago, will start second with a lap of 111.352 mph. This marks Custer’s third front-row start in the last four road course races. Justin Allgaier, Riley Herbst, and Sam Mayer follow Custer in the starting lineup.
Impressive Debut for Sage Karam and Kaz Grala
Sam Hunt Racing’s Sage Karam made history in his first session with the team by qualifying in sixth place with a lap of 110.242 mph. This is now the team’s best starting position. Karam’s teammate, Kaz Grala, qualified in ninth place with a lap of 109.209 mph.
