AJIO Becomes Title Sponsor for ‘The Ranveer Show’ Podcast
Fashion and lifestyle brand AJIO has become the first title sponsor for influencer Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, ‘The Ranveer Show’ (TRS). The podcast became exclusive to Spotify earlier this year, and following its growing success, AJIO has partnered with Allahbadia for 16 episodes of the show.
Ranveer Allahbadia: Why Invest in Podcasting?
Allahbadia, who is best known by his social media handle ‘Beer Biceps,’ explains that the podcasting industry in India is still in its early days compared to Western markets, but it is growing rapidly. For this reason, AJIO has decided to focus on video-based podcasts, as they allow the brand to showcase its fashion elements.
Brand Integrations in Podcasts
Allahbadia also believes that brand integrations within podcasts can be just as successful as traditional advertisements. He has previously marketed his meditation app, ‘Level,’ in the middle of a few episodes of his podcast, and believes that this type of integration can generate significant revenue.
AJIO and ‘The Ranveer Show’: What’s Next?
AJIO’s partnership with ‘The Ranveer Show’ has been a success so far, and the brand is considering extending its collaboration with Allahbadia. The podcast welcomed a range of guests, including rapper Honey Singh, influencer Urfi Javed, and actor Suniel Shetty, among others.
