AGiRepair and Big Brothers Big Sisters Host STEAM Camp

AGiRepair of Greensburg has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region to host a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) camp. The camp will provide children with opportunities to explore various subjects in a fun and engaging way.

Event Details

The camp will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday at Legion Keener Park in Latrobe. Children involved in the program will participate in different activities that align with each subject of STEAM.

Activities

At the camp, children will have the chance to engage in a variety of activities. Some of the stations include:

  • Building bird houses and feeders
  • A drum circle
  • An owl presentation from Wildlife Works

These activities are designed to provide structure while also allowing children to tap into their creativity and explore their interests.

AGiRepair’s Commitment to the Community

AGiRepair, a device repair and buyback company in Greensburg, has been recognized as the partner of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region. The company has shown great dedication to supporting the nonprofit by hosting various events such as the 2022 holiday party and a career day for children in the Big Futures program.

Gabrielle Stewart, the development and events coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region, praises AGiRepair’s commitment. “The AGiRepair staff has really embraced the mission and they just love planning stuff for the kids,” Stewart said.
