What to Expect
The event will feature a free planetarium show and a public presentation on the James Webb Space Telescope. The show starts at 2 p.m., and the presentation will begin at 3:30 p.m. However, if you want to visit Flandrau science exhibits, regular admission fees will apply ($8 to $12).
During the event, you will learn about the science and engineering of light, also known as optics and photonics. Arizona is home to world leaders in optics, photonics, and astronomy, making it the perfect place to celebrate the International Day of Light.
