The Bharatiya Janata Party

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the ruling political party in India led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The party was formed in 1980 and is currently the largest political party in the Lok Sabha with over 300 seats. The BJP has support from Hindu nationalists and the business community, and is currently leading the race in the upcoming Indian elections with a majority of the seats projected in various poll surveys.
