Lexus Introduces Updates for the 2024 ES Sedan

The 2024 Lexus ES sedan comes with some exciting changes, including a new optional Technology Package, an additional available wheel design, and a small price increase. It continues to offer a range of drivetrain configurations, providing options for both front- and all-wheel drive.

New Technology Package

A significant update for the 2024 ES sedan is the introduction of a Technology Package. This package includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, the advanced Lexus Interface infotainment system, a SmartAccess key card, and a head-up display. It will be available on several trim levels, including the base, Luxury, F Sport Design, and F Sport Handling. However, the pricing for this package has not been announced yet.

Fresh Wheel Design

Another notable change for the 2024 ES is the addition of an 18-inch wheel design featuring a stylish Vapor Chrome finish. This design will come as a standard feature for the Ultra Luxury trim level, enhancing the vehicle’s overall aesthetic appeal.

Pricing Details

The starting price for the 2024 Lexus ES, including a $1,150 destination charge, is $43,190, which represents a slight increase compared to the 2023 model’s price of $42,490. The pricing for the complete range of ES trims is as follows:

Unchanged Powertrains

No major mechanical changes have been made to the ES sedan for 2024. The ES 250 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. This power is transmitted to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the ES 350 boasts a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 302 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque, which is transferred to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid ES 300h combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine operating on the Atkinson cycle, an electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery pack. This hybrid system delivers a total output of 215 horsepower and utilizes a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to power the front wheels.
